Open LiteSpeed is an excellent software, but when I use it with Varnish, missing cache validator, and the header, even with Varnish, we have no-cache no-store. With external app we can add custom headers, because this can not be on contents served by OLS?.

Hi,
how i can define a cache validator (leverage browser caching)using OLS?
If you say that is not possible, I ask: Why we can define it when we are using OLS as a reverse proxy, but when we're serving content directly using OLS can not?

while I'm still not quite clear about the question,
you can run varnish in front of OLS, define Cache-Control headers in varnish.
the title "OLS + VARNISH = No-Cache" is not true.

I'm not creating titles "FALSE" or "TRUE", I actually had a situation using OLS + Varnish where the header show no-cache . Using Nginx in more basic mime.types way, I have no problem "no-cache".
